The Poetry Brothel Toronto is thrilled to offer part two of our Performing Poetry Series! This workshop focuses on how to take a memorised piece from a read to a performance.
The workshop will begin with a few warm-ups, including writing exercises to warm up your creative brain, then physical and vocal warm-ups to get you ready to perform.
Each poet will have multiple opportunities to workshop their performance, both in partners/teams, and in front of our workshop facilitator for guidance and feedback. You'll come away from the day feeling empowered and ready to get up on stage!
