The Poetry Brothel Toronto is thrilled to offer two additional dates for Performing Poetry I: an introduction to performance principles, tools, and techniques for performing poetry onstage.
Elevate your poetic performances! Whether you have an upcoming feature performance or have been attending open mics, this workshop is designed to support you where you are at. You will come away with actionable and specific techniques to ease your nerves, use your voice and body to tell the story of your poetry, and elevate your performance.
At the Poetry Brothel Toronto, we believe in the value and impact of preparing your performance; that this increases intimacy with your audience, and improves the audience's understanding of your work. We look forward to empowering you to make creative performance choices through this workshop series!
